SINOPSIS
Yusuf tiene seis años y acaba de empezar el colegio. Su padre Yakup es apicultor, y Yusuf disfruta acompañándole. Una mañana, Yusuf le cuenta a su padre lo que ha soñado, pero Yakup le reprende: no se deben contar los sueños. El maestro le pide a Yusuf que lea un texto en clase, pero éste empieza a tartamudear. Poco después, las abejas desaparecen, poniendo en peligro el sustento de la familia. Yakup decide adentrarse en la montaña para descubrir qué ha ocurrido. En cuanto se va, Yusuf deja de hablar. Anochece y Yakup no regresa. Yusuf, que identifica a su padre con el profeta, está convencido de que volverá. Yusuf y su madre buscan pistas para saber dónde está Yakup, pero en vano, y el niño decide seguir buscando solo, internándose en un camino hacia lo desconocido.
