[AYUDA] tengo problemas al montar un disco externo en ubuntu

hola amigos, espero puedan ayudarme ya que he intentado varias soluciones pero no me han dado resultado, resulta que hiceron correr un software en uno de mis discos duros para limpiar cookies y demases y este borro mas de la cuenta dañando el windows que este tenía, lo trate de montar en mi note con ubuntu pero al realizar esto me lanza el siguiente mensaje:

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a

SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows

then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very

important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate

it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.

/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation

for more details.

 

cuando intento darle arranque con un livecd desde un usb no hace nada solo queda con pantalla negra y no responde.

porfavor espero puedan ayudarme ya que en dicho disco duro tengo mucho trabajo y libros e información muy importante...

Intenta conectarlo a un equipo con windows y ejecuta un escaneo de disco (chkdsk). Si no te funciona... lo más probable es que se haya dañado el sistema de archivos (NTFS) y ahí se complica más el tema.
